Salamu alaikum ,
Lets say that someone stole clothes from someone. And than the person asked for forgiveness , he learnt that he was guilty and that he shouldnt have done that. But he can not return the clothes, because if he did return them , the police could punish him. What should that person do in that situation . Should he donate the clothings ? Should he still wear them or is that haram? Thank you.
