I am a young Muslim woman who is in love with a Muslim man and wants to marry him.
I am not a perfect Muslim, but I do know my boundaries and I know what’s right and wrong. I expect that my partner does as well because it is important for me that we share the same values and beliefs. I thought I found the perfect man to marry until I found out that he has a past of drinking, clubbing, haram relationships, etc. I am no person to judge but this scares me because it makes me feel like he is not afraid of Allah. Should I forgive this man and leave the past behind or should I move on and not marry him? I am lost because I have deep feelings and I don’t know how to make them go away.
