Assalaamu Alaikum. I was circumcised as a child. However, due to non removal of the entire foreskin, I have some amount of foreskin left. When erect the glans is fully exposed. However sometimes when flaccid the glans covers partially by the foreskin. I went to a doctor and he confirmed that a recircumcision can be done in order to avoid the remaining foreskin rolling over the glans when flaccid. Should i undergo circumcision or is it preferred to undergo recircumcision.
I understand circumcision as a whole is a sunnah and not a must. Please let me know.
