Asalaam aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu,
I recently converted to Islam about a month ago. I’m married to a nonmuslim. I have started talking to fellow muslim sisters and They havd said I’m in a state of zina by staying with him and he would not accept me being muslim (I haven’t told him as he can be abusive at times and I’m worried how he would react). Is this true? Also what if I don’t want to have relations with him but he has made it clear if i don’t he would harm me in some way so I am afraid do even try? Also I realize islamically i should probablh leave but because of his temper it is not so easy to just leave.
Also is there such a thing as rape in an islamic marriage? JazakAllah khair
