As-salamu alaykum,
I am an 18 year old student who likes reading and writing fantasy/ historical fiction stories and novels. I don’t write fantasy in the sense of fairies or dragons, they’re just stories set in a completely fictional world with different continents and kingdoms, but are loosely inspired by different medieval civilizations. Because of this, the different fictional nations in the story have different belief systems and religions that are made up and some even ridiculous (as would happen throughout history). As it is a made up world, I did not want to add actual religions, so I opted to create clearly fictional religions, very loosely inspired by ancient religions/ beliefs (for example: a civilization who worship ancestors or statues, polytheists, monotheists etc.). To be more clear, the religions aren’t true even in that fictional world, but are adopted by some of the fictional characters.
