Hi,
My brother’s friend was killed in a stabbing after he got involved with the wrong people. He was a teenage muslim boy who has no criminal past and went to the location (where he was killed) to resolve an ongoing conflict. However the meeting resulted in violence and he was dead on the scene. I know that his death was not about defending islam or his property- however I was wondering whether he would still be considered a martyr. I know that in islam people who die from accidents such as drownings are martyrs, but in case- where he was unlawfully killed, is he a marty?
