Assalamu alaikum. I want to ask. My husband and I already aqad nikkah. But we still like engaged/still not living together. In preparing our walimah there is fight between my family and his family. So, my dad cancel the walimah. He tried to call and text my dad, but didnt come to meet him. In the end, he said, planning to divorce. He said we cant continue this because our parent disagreed, and marriage cant work without their approval. How about that in islam? Is prohibited to divorce because this reason?
