I met a guy online and fell in love. We are both from different parts of the state. We never met in private. His family is strict religiously. Mine is not. My family women dont wear hijabs or pray regularly. But his does. My family hit me and blackmailed me to leave the guy. I pray and read quran regularly.he also does. They are not a rich family like us. Hence my family rejects him citing cultural difference and status difference. I am not willing to marry any one else. I dont feel money or culture is important. He has a goof character and is religious. What should I do now? If they dont accept at all, can I stay single life long?
