I am a underground miner working in a remote mine site in Australia. I don’t have a specific islamic calendar that reflects my position accurately. I have two options that I can go off. My first option is a township (with an islamic calendar) that is located on the same lattitude, however it is 80km due west of me (sunrise will be later than me). My second option is a township (with an islamic calendar) that is located on a similar longitude, however it is 160km south of me.
The sehar and iftar times vary for both sites (up to 10 minutes). My question is do I follow the town with the same lattitude, longitude or is there another way to determine my sehar/iftar times based on my co-ordinates.
Jazak Allahu Khairan
