Salam,
I have seen people carrying out rituals to protect oneself or their kids from evil eye such as they gather chillie salt or sometimes mustard seed and place all in a paper- then this paper is placed on persons head and names of ppl who may have given evil eye is said – then the paper is burnt – some recite the four kulz and ayatul kursi
Is this act haram or not – cannot find any hadith to support this
