Assalaamualaikum,
I am in approx £5000 worth of debt from my overdraft of which I get charged interest on from the bank, my earnings from work don’t clear my debt and so im still in it each month, im trying to reduce my spendings so i can pay some of it off each month, but i am struggling with it.
Question is I feel like I need and want to give charity still, am i islamically allowed to use my overdraft even though i pay interest on it to help the needy or give in charity to masjids etc…
Also do you know of any tips or duas to help overcome debt..
