i have not lived with my father since I was 2, he has barely paid for anything and gives me nothing more than pocket money. I see him maybe once a year and contact him maybe 3 times a year. My stepdad has raised me since I was 6 and has been there financially since. I genuinely feel no comfort in knowing my dad has to be the one to marry me off over someone who has been there for me, it is as though he is a stranger.
