Imams Online are planning to deliver three to four regional digital summits in 2016. The first of these digital summits comes to Bradford on the 23/01/16. There will be over 100 Imams, Scholars and Aalimahs for a day of networking, presentations and workshops as we look at the ever changing nature of modern communication and the need for religious leaders to become effective in using new media to engage with young Muslims.
Imams Online has developed a partnership with social media giants Facebook and Twitter who will have keynote sessions & hold engaging workshops on specific social media training for Islamic leaders. The need for religious leaders to have an online presence is as great as ever, their message needs to reach the younger generation and social media is a perfect platform for them to reach thousands of people by a click of a button.
