Tackling Islamophobia from the Minbar
As part of National Hate Crime Awareness Week, For Friday, October 16th, Imams Online together with Mosque Security are encouraging Mosques and Imams up and down the UK to join a national Khutbah campaign that focuses on raising awareness of the rise in Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim hate crime on Islamic institution. The sermons on Friday should look at how the Muslim community can build resilience to hate and the importance of securing our faith institutions as attacks against Mosques across the globe is on the rise. Congregations should be made aware of the statistics and the need to come together as a community to stand up to hate and protect our institutions.
