Overview
Faith Associates in partnership with the Lancashire Council of Mosques, the Manchester Council of Mosques and leading social media companies Facebook and Twitter will be conducting a one day ‘Digital Summit and E-Safety Training’ event on the 30th April at Royal Nawaab Restaurant in Manchester.
This event is a continuation of the work Imams Online has been doing with Muslim faith leaders across the UK and provides Imams, Mosque leaders and madrassah teachers the opportunity to engage with leading digital communication practitioners, safeguarding experts and network with other regional faith leaders to discuss ideas and solutions for issues facing the Muslim community today.
Key Areas of Focus
The event will look to focus on 4 key areas:
- Providing Faith Leaders with an insight into the Scale and Power of Social Media
- Empowering Faith Leaders with the Tools to Best Engage with the Next Generation
- Tackling Islamophobia and Far-Right Extremism
- Protecting Children with E-Safety (Certified Training)
