“We all have a much deeper appreciation of each other now.”
“There is a famous saying – ‘looking back makes the view looking forward even clearer.’ Over this past year, we have all grappled with the pandemic and so we should appreciate the happy memories and recall the loss we experienced the obstacles as well that were overcome in equal measure.
“We all lead busy lives, but it will only take a minute to reflect. As a faith leader, to me, reflection means reminiscing about how my own community gave back to others so proudly, seeing a shared humanity and inter-community solidarity of society, where we put aside differences, and realised we have more in common than not, and are better together than divided.
“While this year has been extremely challenging for us all, from experience we all have a much deeper appreciation of each other.”
