Christians stand outside Mosque in Norway in solidarity with Muslims following Mosque shooting

On the 9th August 2019, a man entered the Al Noor Islamic Centre and opened fire on innocent worship goers.

One person in the mosque managed to overpower the gunman and was injured in the process. The suspect was arrested after the attack.

Following this horrific terrorist attack, the community in Norway came out during Friday prayers in Kristiansand to show solidarity with their Muslim neighbours. The christian community stood outside the local An Noor Mosque holding signs “Safety in prayer” as Muslims prayed inside.

There has been a high increase on terror attacks against Islamic places of worship across the world, acts such as these go a long way to uniting people of all faith and none.
