British Imams have paid a visit to their French Muslim and Jewish counterparts in a show of solidarty and interfaith cohesion following recent terror attacks in Paris.
The Imams visited the Jewish grocery that was attacked, had a meeting with the Jewish representatives of CRIF and visited the Grand Mosque of Paris to meet with the Grand Mufti, Dalil Aboubaker.
Imam Qari Asim of Leeds Makkah Mosque sympathised with the Grand Mufti and told him, “we’ve seen how difficult it is in those challenging times to keep communities together.”
